A GYŰJTÉS
Még nincs itt mindenki, de itt lesz
A Budapest-Bamako futam jótékonysági oldala két részből áll.
1. Egy kutat ásunk Afrika egyik legszegényebb részén.
Erre a kútra gyűjtünk pénzt mi is.
Köszönjük a nevükben is!

Good evening my dear Andrew,
How are you? I hope you are fine. How is your sister. Is she totally fine now? I am sorry not to reply rapidly to your last email because i was busy translating some reports for my partner NGOs. Now, we have installed all the computers and the printers. We just have a small problem with the Xrox. It is a personnal Xrox and a printer and fax at the same time. It seems to be too complicated for us especially for the staff. We are considering whether to resell it and buy a big one or keep it. But it seems that we cannot get a medium one when we sell it. So discussions are underway to see what will be the best use for it. For the time being we just tested it and it works well. Personnally I do not want to leave it with everyone using it as they do not know how to use it. For example, this is the first time my assistant and my secretary are using a computer. They are all learning it now. In our secretary schools, they arre still using very old typing machines for training. The five computers the Samsung group gave us are working well. They gave a big envy to students and their parents as many students can now attend computer teaching classes. Some students call their parents to come and see them during their computer lessons. Now I feel personnally very happy during break times when I see children playing with many and different games and toys whereas a few months ago they just had one old ball and two freezebees. My become full of tears when see them running jumping here and there. It is really amazing to see how you have changed the lives of these children. I really cannot stop crying when i think of this. Thank you very much. I am very happy to see that this world is not full with just selfish people and wars and exclusion. It is really difficult for you to feel what I feel now. Thank you very much. May God bless you all and pay you. I do not have any word to thank you and express you my feelings.
Today, I donated many toys to the director of another kindergaten. She is an old woman running a community kindergarden in Kalabankoro. She said, she heard I received many things and she wants some things for children to play with. I think next year I am going to send my extra students to Hungary for classes because many parents are coming now to get a place for their children. The reason why I am saying this and it is true is that this year, two major events took place in my school almost at the same time. On the 19th of January, we received the visit of seven American women who visited our school, children and their families and decided to sponsor 50 disadvantaged children. They were sponsoring 28 students last year. But after their visit of the school and the families and measuring all my efforts, they decided to sponsor 50 students. This echoe went everywhere in the community and parents started to come fro everywhere.
Ten days after their visit, I received your historical visit the 29 of the same month. This was the first time the community of Kalabankoro had the visit of such a big delegation with so many cars. So the whole community was automatically informed. Also when it was braodcasted on the radio the same day, people kept on calling me from Segou. So you see how you have drawn all Mali to me!!!. Did I told you that they showed it on TV ten days after? Yes, it was great and I was very happy for that. Now most people know what you are doing. I really thank you very much. You really gave me more courage and confidence to conitinue my work. You have the blessing of all my community especially parents of students. They are extremely happy. As to me, I am really committed to help these children and their families for the rest of my life.
Andrew, there is another request I want to make and see how you and your team can help me. It is not the least and the last. Last year I received the visit of Islamic Relief, a British NGO who sponsors orphans and gives assistance to their families. They promissed to sponsor 12 orphans in my school. Most of them did not have any birth certificates. I got birth certificates for them. But since then, they did not react and these children desperately need assistance. All their school expenses are supported by me. I really need some sponsors for these 12 children.
Ok, now I want to give you a break before my next emal.
See you soon,
Best regards,
Youchaou
